GEORGIE COLERIDGE COLE
Georgie Coleridge Cole grew up in south west London, where she currently lives with her husband and three children. She received an MA in French from Edinburgh University and went on to work in marketing for COTY Beauty before launching SheerLuxe in 2007 – an online lifestyle publisher featuring news, views, edits and opinions on all things relevant and desirable for the modern consumer.
SheerLuxe has shaped what successful digital marketing looks like in the UK. They have an SLMan title as well as Parenting, Wedding, Gold, UltaLuxe and LuxeGen supplements. The company employs a team of over 60 employees, has over 600,000 newsletter subscribers, over 1 .5 million social followers and myriad emerging and well-established brands and retailers as its commercial partners – from Net-a-Porter, MatchesFashion and Harvey Nichols, to Reiss, Charlotte Tilbury & Chanel. Alongside well established retail brands they are huge supporters of British founder led businesses and entrepreneurship.
Alongside its wealth of editorial – covering everything from fashion and beauty to culture, cause and lifestyle – the publication utilises YouTube, podcasts and social media to give readers 360-degree access to the SheerLuxe lifestyle.
In February 2022 Georgie Coleridge Cole launched Luxe & Co, a branding and design agency that helps brands and services with great products and offerings have their best chance of success via aspirational branding and content combined with unique commercial savvy.
In October 2023 SheerLuxe launched in the Middle East connecting brands, retailers, and services in the region with target consumers through its authentic voice and unique approach to digital publishing.
This Autumn 2023, Georgie will launch BLUSH Talent MGMT, a talent management agency representing content creators, profession industry leaders and SheerLuxe Team members with independent followings.
On a cause note GCC firmly believes in using the SL platform, influence and reach to have meaningful conversations around everything from neurodiversity to mental health. She is particularly passionate about changing mindsets around those with criminal records and encouraging people in positions of privilege to use their privilege for good and give ex offenders job opportunities in order to lower the reoffending rate.
